SERIE SONGBOOK

This series contains paintings that were made on the occasion of a song. The music is not chosen randomly: these are songs that touch me in different ways.

"The Girl From Ipanema"
Acrylic paint on canvas 80x100 cm. To the song from the 60s. Interpreted by many artists, but the version of Frank Sinatra is wonderfully sultry. Or that because of the cigarette that he smokes while singing? ;-)

"Be sure to wear flowers in your hair". To a line from the song "San Francisco" (1967) by Scott Mckenzie. From my childhood already a favorite song!

"Are you going to scarborough fair?" acrylic paint on canvas 80x100 cm Text line from the song Scarborough fair (1966) by Simon and Garfunkel All music by Simon and Garfunkel is beautiful, but this is my favorite! As a joke I have the" Parsley, Sage, Rosemary and Thyme " also processed in the painting.

"Fly Like An Eagle" acrylic paint on canvas 80x100 cm To the song of The Steve Miller Band from 1976. Nice song with a nice intro!

"And if the night is burning I will cover my eyes" Acrylic on canvas 50x100 cm From the song" I see fire "by Ed Sheeran Beautiful sensitive song The dragon on the painting refers to the movie" The Hobbit: the desolation of Smaug "where this song can be heard.

"California Gurls" acrylic paint on canvas - to the cheerful summer song by Katy Perry, where these ladies from the 50s fit in well!

"Love Generation"acrylic paint on canvas." To the hit of Bob Sinclar from 2006. In the video clip a little boy cycles through America, which produces beautiful atmospheric images.

"She comes out of the sun in a silk dress running like a watercolor in the rain" Acrylic paint on canvas 80x100 cm To the song" The year of the cat "by Al Stewart.

"You place the flowers in the vase that you bought today" Acrylic paint on canvas, 80 x 100 cm.
From the song "Our House" by Crosby Stills Nash and Young. From the legendary album Deja Vu.

"Summer Jam" Acrylic paint on canvas, nice swinging summer song from The Underdog Project.
